Review Policy
How reviews are collected, moderated and displayed.
Draft for review. This policy describes what the service actually does today, written in plain language by its operator. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Use it as the operator's statement of how the service works.
Who can review
Only people who have worked with a company should review it. Reviews from owners, employees or competitors are not allowed.
Confirmation and moderation
A reviewer must first confirm their email address by a link we send. A member of our team then reads every review before it is published. We look for spam, abuse, links, copied text and reviewers connected to the company: a review written from the reviewed company's own email domain is never published. Each person can review a company once.
What is shown
A published review shows the rating, title, text, the service, budget and duration if given, the reviewer's role, and a label: "Business email confirmed" or "Email confirmed". It never shows the reviewer's name or email. We do not check that the writer was a customer and we never describe a review as a verified customer. The rating on a profile is a plain average of its published reviews, and reviews are not part of any score.
Company responses and reports
A company can write one public response to each published review. We read the response before it appears, and a response cannot name or try to identify the reviewer. A company can also report a review to us with a reason. A report does not hide the review: our team decides. Companies cannot edit or remove reviews.
Removal
We remove reviews that are fake, abusive, unlawful, or that breach someone's privacy, and responses that break these rules. Each decision is recorded with a reason. A reviewer can ask us to erase their review with a privacy request.
